自1968年投身自动化机械领域。于设立在马来西亚槟城的美资Intel(英特尔)海外分厂任职自动化设计工程主管，负责生产部门的机械设计、组装与维修工程。成为亚洲首批拥有Autocad电脑绘图操作技术的专业人员。 荣获 Intel（英特尔） 20年荣誉勋章。
90年代，被Intel（英特尔）提升为自动化设计高级工程师，并特派往美国加州分厂进行技术支援。期间，协助分厂成立自动化设计部门，全方位指导设计、组装与维修生产线专用的自动化机械、提供机械安装与维修的技术培训。
1992年Tony wong服务于马资电子厂Globetronics，出任机械高级工程师一职。之后，受聘于美资Mattel和日资Sony拥有技术合作关系的马资电子厂Walta automation，担任机械工程经理兼顾问，重组管辖部门以更系统化的操作模式，大幅提升生产品质与生产效率。
2005年迎来了崭新的事业挑战。Tony wong应邀新加坡理工学院Singapore polytechnic，出任自动化机械科客座指导讲师，为本科系学生提供实务上诸如机械组装与维修的技术培训。应学院所需，设计了教学用途的自动化机械，以及负责为科系挑选引进适合用途的机械。
2007年，远赴中国寻求事业上更开阔的发展前景。Tony wong受聘于英资Esselte（易达），担任研发与生产部自动化设计经理。分别为宁波分厂与常平总厂成立自动化设计部门，并重新整编部门操作系统。提升部门原有自动化机械的功能与效率，使产品品质与产量大幅增进，使之更具优越的竞争力。
于自动化机械领域已累积长达42年的丰富经验的Tony wong。在多年的工作经历中，接受了涵盖技术性、指导性与管理性质的完整专业训练，深厚的经验累积则让其专业能力更通达精深。 除了专业能力外，由于曾在美国和新加坡等高科技先驱据点任职，因此在国际视野上一向抱持着开明博远的眼光与见地，适时为服务单位引入新元素，与国际接轨之同时也带来更活跃的脉动。
Mr. Tony Wong, a Malaysia borned Chinese - - - The Automation/Mechanical Design Engineer, Senior Design Engineer and Engineering Consultant/Manager who specialized in all sorts of automation and mechanical jobs. For instance, able to do welding jobs, workshop turning machine, milling machine, grinding machine, shipping machine (ships), equipment repairing, assembling, modifying, servicing, tooling and jig and fixture, design automatic pick and place machine, trim and form machine, machine buy-off, modifying existing machinery to achieve a better quality and mass productivity management and decrease the down line etc.
Mr. Wong firstly joined in the field of automation machinery since 1968; his first employer was Intel (Penang), Malaysia branch. He was appointed as Automation Design Supervisor, incharged of production support, equipment assembly, design, repair, and also technical drawing (AutoCAD). He also rewarded with a certificate of appreciation from Intel for working with them for 20 years.
In the late 1990’s , he was promoted by Intel as an Automation Design Engineer and was sent to Intel at California, USA for assisting in factory set up and technical support and training. He helped out the installation and maintenance of automated machinery production line that dedicated to provide more efficient and better quality of productivity.
In 1992, Mr. Wong been employed by a Malaysia’s local semi-conductor factory namely Globetronics, as a Mechanization Engineer. He then moved on to Walta Automation as an Engineering Consultant and Manager. His duty was to design and modify the existing machinery from Mattel and Sony in order to significantly increase the production quality and production efficiency. As an Engineering Consultant, he also systematically restructures departments under the jurisdiction of the mode of operation.
While in 2005, he was employed by Singapore Polytechnic College as Automated Design Machine Lecturer/Trainer, giving out training and sharing experiences on how to assembling, modifying and designing machinery equipments, he also responsible in various machine buy-off.
He went to China to seek a broader career development prospects in year 2007, Mr. Wong was employed in Esselte, Ningbo branch in China, a British Company, as an Automation Design Manager/Consultant. He assisted in the factory set up at Changping plant, reorganized departments operating systems, also to enhance the functions of the existing old machinery in order to yield a better quality and substantially increased the products, making them more favorable competitive.
Mr. Tony Wong, whom has accumulated more than 42 years of experiences in the field of Automation machinery, obtained numerous of esteemed working experiences and skills throughout endless training and management for the past years making him more practical and professional. In addition to possess the professional skills, as he had been working in pioneer countries such as USA and Singapore, it believed that he owned and hold a broader perspective on the open vision and able to timely introduce and invent more elements for the service units, and this indirectly brings in a better level of international quality and demand to gain greater business opportunity.
